Wayne Kramer
Jail Guitar Doors/MC5
Owner/Musician
Wayne Kramer is a legendary guitarist (MC5) and a groundbreaking composer. He's also an activist who fights for prison reform as the co-founder (with Billy Bragg) of the charity Jail Guitar Doors. His film and TV composing credits cover a broad spectrum ranging from Sony Pictures' Anchorman to PBS' The Narcotic Farm, with so much in between. He's currently scoring the television series Bad Judge and the Amazon original series pilot Salem Rogers. His first solo in 14 years was released in April and it's a free jazz record entitled Lexington. It debuted at #6 on Soundscan's national Traditional Jazz charts. He is, first and foremost, a great dad.
