Savannah Peterson is the global community manager at Shapeways, the world’s largest community of 3D printing entrepreneurs. Empowering over 18,000 Shapeways designers and their shops every day, Savannah lives, eats and breathes 3D printing. Prior to joining the 3D printing industry, Savannah worked at product design consultancy, D2M | Design to Matter, focusing on consumer electronics and medical devices for the Fortune 100's and small startup. She was the marketing mind behind the Instacube Kickstarter campaign, and has helped friends, clients and fellow creatives raise over $4.5M through crowdfunding. Before jumping into design, Savannah worked at Fox Sports Northwest and founded her own Social Media Marketing Agency, Savvy Marketing Seattle. When not rocking the tech world, Savannah empowers others to build the careers of their dreams, teaching digital marketing and crowdfunding at Stanford, NYU, PACE and SUNY Oswego.
