Marshall Curry is a two-time Academy Award nominated documentary director. His films include STREET FIGHT, which followed Cory Booker's first run for mayor of Newark, NJ; RACING DREAMS, which won Best Documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival; IF A TREE FALLS: A STORY OF THE EARTH LIBERATION FRONT, for which he won the Sundance Film Festival award for editing; and POINT AND SHOOT, which tells the story of a young Baltimore native who set out on a 35,000 mile motorcycle adventure that eventually led him to Libya, where he joined the rebels fighting dictator Muammar Gaddafi. POINT AND SHOOT won Best Documentary at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival and was released theatrically nationwide. Curry was the Executive Producer and an additional editor of MISTAKEN FOR STRANGERS (a comedy doc about brotherhood and the indie rock band The National) which opened the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival. Through numerous awards and reviews, Curry has been recognized for his storytelling skills and ability to bring characters and their perspectives vividly to the screen.
