Mark Spier is CEO of Royalty Solutions Corp., a company that provides royalty processing and licensing for record labels and music publishers. Mark founded RSC in 2009 after observing the need for comprehensive and accurate services. RSC proudly helps clients minimize overhead, maximize time and concentrate on their core business of making music. In addition, Mark is the third generation President and Owner of indie music publisher, Memory Lane Music Group founded by his grandfather, Larry Spier Sr., in 1921. Memory Lane’s catalog includes pop standards such as, You’re Nobody Til somebody Love You, Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town, Blueberry Hill, Me and My Shadow as well as many new hits. MLMG’s songs have been covered and sampled by a staggering number of the industry’s elite. Memory Lane is part of the NMPA’s (National Music Publisher Association) “Top 100” music publishers list and Mark has recently been elected to the Board of Directors of the AIMP (Association of Independent Music Publishers) In addition to serving as President of MLMG, Mark also presides over its subsidiaries, Scion Music, and Larry Spier Music. Mark is an expert in copyright law and licensing practices. He graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science, and received an MBA from Columbia University. He went on to work for IBM and then became a VP at Credit Suisse before beginning his tenure at Memory Lane in 2002. Mark lives on Long Island with his wife Lori. They spend most of their spare time shuttling their two boys, Matthew and Ben, between various sports practices.
