Head of Brand Strategy
Karl Isaac oversees Adobe’s brand strategy and innovation group managing the complete Adobe portfolio including corporate, product, solution, and hardware brands as well as environmental and acquisition branding. He also leads Adobe’s brand and marketing innovation programs and serves as a key brand evangelist and leader within the company. During his career Karl has led branding and marketing in client and agency-side roles, for some of the world’s most recognized brands. As executive director, digital branding at Landor, he built and led the digital practice. As client partner at Razorfish he managed the Microsoft relationship and led the digital brand launch of Bing. As director, branding and marketing strategy at Microsoft he managed Office, Dynamics, and Windows Mobile brands and led global integrated marketing campaign teams. He was also a sr. product manager at Apple and, prior to high tech, a designer for leading architecture firms in Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco. Karl teaches Account Planning at Miami Ad School in SF and has presented digital branding topics at AIGA’s Design Conference, Digiday’s Innovation Bootcamp, and Columbia Business School’s Center on Global Brand Leadership. He studied design at Hampshire College, earned a Master of Architecture degree from UCLA, and holds an MBA from Duke University where he focused on high tech marketing.
