Kaitlin Yarnall

Kaitlin Yarnall is the Executive Editor, Maps, Graphics & Art for National Geographic, where she oversees staff charged with the Society's maps and graphics. She is the director of National Geographic's food initiative and was deeply involved in conceptualizing the graphic storytelling for recent series around urban impacts and population. Yarnall's work has been recognized by the Society for News Design and Malofiej (commonly referred to as the Pulitzers of information graphics). She has been with National Geographic for nine years. She studied Spanish literature and geography at Humboldt State University and earned her MA in geography from The George Washington University.
