Joi Brown is the Founder and Director of 4Site Programming, a consulting company that provides performing arts programming and support to multiple arts organizations and venues across the nation. Prior to launching 4Site in 2012, Joi spent 25 years working in the presenting field as Vice President of Programming and Education for Omaha Performing Arts, the General Manager and Director of Programming for Weidner Center for the Performing Arts, the Executive Director for the Oshkosh Grand Opera House, and programmer for the John Michael Kohler Arts Center. In addition to supporting the work of well-established performing arts centers, she also works with less established venues identifying new and sustainable programming models for their community. Joi’s current projects also include working with Arts Midwest to support the planning of professional development programming offered to 1000 industry colleagues who attend this regional booking conference.
