Jason is Co-Founder and Principal Consultant at NextGen Interactions, a company that provides consulting services and product development for emerging technologies. He has over 20 years of experience working with organizations such as General Motors, Lockheed Martin, NASA Ames, Valve, Oculus VR, and Sixense Entertainment. Jason has held various technical and leadership positions including building and leading a team of ~300 individuals and serves on multiple conference committees and advisory boards. Jason received a Bachelors in Science with an Emphasis in Computer Graphics and minors in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from Washington State University. He received a PhD in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a focus on virtual reality and visual-temporal perception. Jason holds over 20 publications and patents in the areas of computer graphics, human-computer interaction, and virtual/augmented reality.
