Gillian Gorman Round was named President of The Lucky Group in August 2014 where she oversees all business functions for the brand including revenue generation, marketing, brand development and strategic partnerships. Prior to this, she served as General Manager and Senior Vice President of Lucky since joining the team in January 2013. Ms. Gorman Round joined Condé Nast as one of the youngest executives to lead a brand at the publishing behemoth where under her leadership both print and digital revenue grew exponentially. Her previous senior management experience at Condé Nast, Lancôme, and Yves Saint Laurent has been instrumental in creating successful revenue-generating programs, multi-faceted marketing strategies and optimized e-commerce platforms. During her decade-long tenure at Lancôme, Gorman Round grew the business to become the largest brand in the L’Oreal Luxe portfolio. She was also the youngest Senior Vice President of Marketing in the company’s history managing the full brand marketing mix from product development and creation through execution, across all consumer touch points: retail partners, Lancome.com directly operated e-commerce as well as all third party retailer e-commerce sites and TV shopping networks. At Yves Saint Laurent Gorman Round was charged with turning the Beauté business around from a double-digit loss to a profitable portfolio in just one year. Gorman Round also launched the beauty divisions e-commerce operation. Prior to joining the Lucky team, Ms. Gorman Round held the position of Senior Vice President, Brand Development at Condé Nast. In this role she worked collaboratively with the various editorial, sales, business development, and technology teams to manage key business initiatives and maximize revenue generation. Ms. Gorman Round graduated from The University of Edinburgh with an honors degree in Business Studies. She lives in Manhattan with her husband and their two children.
