Christopher Isenberg

Victory Journal
Since graduating from Stanford and Oxford, Christopher Isenberg has explored the intersection of sport and culture as a writer, filmmaker, entrepreneur and marketer. He’s written for The NYTimes, Village Voice, Fader and spent two years on staff at Details. In 2004 he founded the influential brand No Mas, which explored sports’ secret histories through apparel, artwork and media. In 2009, Isenberg produced Dock Ellis and The LSD No-No, a viral and film festival sensation (3.5 million hits). He has since produced animation for two ESPN 30 for 30s—You Don't Know Bo and Straight Outta LA—as well as shorts for Grantland and NYTimes. In 2010 Isenberg co-founded both Doubleday & Cartwright, a creative studio whose clients include Nike and Red Bull, and Victory Journal, a large format biannual, which has won a gold medal from the Society of Publication Designers and high praise from critics for material as diverse as water jousting in the South of France and El Duque’s escape from Cuba.
