Ashley Callahan is currently the content strategy and PR manager at Chick-fil-A Corporate. Callahan joined the public relations team at Chick-fil-A in August of 2014, charged with leading the long and short-term development and implementation of the company’s content strategy. In addition to working with the Vice President of Public Relations on strategic vision, day-to-day execution and implementation of meaningful strategic communications initiatives, she manages the company’s flagship website, Chick-fil-A.com. Her role incorporates traditional media with a continued emphasis on social, digital and emerging media. Before joining Chick-fil-A, Callahan served in a similar capacity at The Coca-Cola Company as the global manager of digital communications and social media. At Coke, Callahan was responsible for global digital content strategy, brand publishing and external communications for the company’s corporate website turned digital media platform, Coca-Cola Journey. In addition to content strategy and brand publishing, Callahan launched and executed Coke’s global social media program for the 2012 London Olympic Games. Prior to joining Coke, Callahan was the spokesperson and strategic communications manager at a major metro-Atlanta health system. Callahan is an award-winning journalist who reported and anchored at top-rated television stations across the country, including WSB-TV in Atlanta.
