The ramifications of big data are often regarded as menacing, an invasion of privacy and loss of security from mega-corporations and government; however, that data is nothing less than a superpower waiting to be harnessed.
Martine Rothblatt founder United Therapeutics; Rick Smith founder TASER/Evidence.com; Daniel Faber CEO Deep Space Industries and Jeff Garzik CEO Dunvegan Space Systems and Sr. Software Engineer of BitPay are the pioneers and mavericks who are: creating human brain simulation software, developing on-body cameras for law enforcement and managing that data in the cloud; deploying a constellation of satellites to process bitcoin transactions; designing the first orbital resources refinery and microgravity foundry.
Join these innovators as we explore the potential benefits/threats of big data to individual privacy and security, personal freedom, collaborative law enforcement, and economic growth.
