This session highlights two Austin-based 2015 Good Food Award winners and Get Gone Traveler and the importance of preserving artisanal food traditions globally. The panelists will discuss how they develop a local market for their products as well as potential market growth through national recognition programs and international exposure through companies such as Get Gone Traveler (Beta), that offers an online marketplace connecting food forward travelers to local food experts.
