In their own careers and together, Jenna Arnold and Anjali Kumar epitomize the potential of public-private as well as for- and non-profit partnerships to disrupt entire industries. From creating awareness-raising film content on global social issues with the United Nations, to launching ORGANIZE, a startup conquering the organ shortage with the resources of state and federal governments, Jenna is the queen of tackling large scale systemic inefficacy through targeted innovative intervention. Anjali, on the other hand, has mastered the art of symbiotic scaling between private enterprise and non-profits, having amassed a wealth of experience in the field as Senior Counsel at Google as well as General Counsel and Head of Social Innovation at Warby Parker. The two will discuss the ways in which innovators can draw on the strengths of other sectors to advance their social vision, as well as the challenges of growing alongside an operationally divergent partner organization.
