When trying to find an investor for his technology start up, author Jia Jiang was rejected for what he thought was a done deal. It crushed his spirits and made him realize that he shouldn't take rejection this much to heart.
Jiang decided to go out and get rejected for 100 days, intentionally and in a way that would help him overcome his fear. On day three of this journey, a video of him being rejected was viewed by millions of people, and he found encouragement from strangers for the remaining 97 rejections.
After completing this journey, Jiang discovered how much rejection holds us back in our personal and professional lives. We want to land an investor or get capital for our startup, but we're scared that our idea isn't good enough. We want to sell more products, but we're afraid of hearing "no." All of these obstacles can be beaten with the right strategy, which Jiang has found in facing his own fear of rejection and is now sharing with you.
