The Medici family takes much responsibility for stimulating the prolific art movement of the Renaissance. They have earned eternal recognition for doing so, but notably got out of the way to let the artists create their art. Brands today often try too hard to embed themselves into the artistic process, when they should instead take a cue from the Medici family and earn due recognition ("brand awareness" in modern terms) for letting the artists create on their own terms.
Don Meek from Talenthouse will lead a collaborative conversation about the role that brands are playing in today's world where creativity and commerce collide.
