At its heart, Improv isn't about being funny. Rather, it's about re-learning how to play well with others. Embracing the simple joys that we brought to our activities as children.
Developing the skills necessary to become a great improviser -- being connected, listening, unconditional trust, saying "yes," and staying in the moment -- can transform the workplace.
In this two and a half hour long session, we will lead participants through improv exercises and discuss how fear of the unknown can breakdown team dynamic, cause inefficiencies, and stifle creative problem solving. And how, by reframing the way we think about collaboration, we can change the way we work.
The great thing about improv instruction is is that it's experiential in nature. We will debrief and discuss the concepts, but the dirty secret is that your team will get the benefits simply by doing the exercises!
