We will bring together leaders from Disney, Misfit & Sensoria to discuss leading with user experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) space.
IoT is a rapidly growing opportunity area for companies in the technology space, but IoT offers today are mostly driven by technological capabilities of connecting this to that. Assuming that in the future connection will be a given, and everything will be connected by default, then, the real value in the IoT space is in building on these connections to create meaningful user experiences. Disney's magic band, Misfit's rapidly diversifying self-tracking offers and Sensoria's smart garments are outstanding cases for experience design in IoT. In this panel, together with three leader strategists from these companies, we will discuss the future of connected devices, the value and importance of the experience aspect, and how it can be incorporated in the strategies of companies and individuals developing offers for this domain.
