No matter where you work in marketing—agency, client, vendor, etc.—you leave SXSW with a ton of inspiration and ideas. Unfortunately, very few ideas actually make it all the way from the mere idea stage and into a live campaign. And, the truth is, getting something out the door that is a new, innovative and interesting is often more difficult and expensive than we anticipate. In this workshop, we offer a chance to reflect on and digest some of your SXSW experience by strategizing ways you can sell them in when you get home. For example, we will review scenarios such as a web app, a social campaign, and a cool piece of connected hardware and play through the real-life situations that would help you make them apart of a plan and bring them to market. To make things more fun (and realistic) we’ll break into teams to develop the solutions – then rank each teams outcome with a likelihood of success.
