It’s all over the news: yoga and meditation are key ingredients for business success. Scientific studies now confirm these powerful ancient practices increase attention, focus and self-awareness. By synching certain physical postures with breath, we learn to quiet distracting mind chatter. This is where ideas, solutions and creativity have space to arise. This is where you and your business go to the next level.
But, how do you get started? And, how do you apply it to improve work and productivity? Join us to find out.
Yoga Means Business is a NYC-based startup was founded by two women with real business backgrounds, real knowledge of yoga / meditation, and real experience connecting the two worlds. The signature YMB 30-Minute Method can be done in any office space without changing clothes or rolling out yoga mats. Clients include Facebook, Pandora and SoundHound. Fast Company called them Innovation Agents for making office yoga no longer awkward.
This workshop is a total body and brain experience introducing tangible ways to boost clarity, energy, balance and productivity.
Three key takeaways for this session will be:
* physical postures anyone can do to improve blood flow and increase energy in the office
* basic breathing exercises to reduce anxiety and distraction
* an understanding of how to begin a personal meditation practice to recharge your mental batteries every day
Participants should expect to practice basic yoga and meditation, the YMB way (without changing clothes or using yoga mats). We’ll rotate between physical movement, content sharing, large and small group discussion with a 15-minute break in between the 1st and 2nd hour.
