Dj Aye Ally Bea

Ally Bea's personality and demeanor made it clear-even as a child-she wasn't the typical southerner and she was destined for a career in entertainment. Alexandria “Ally Bea” Bellvie was born & raised in the seventh ward – downtown section of New Orleans, La. Often feeling like an outsider for her taste in music and clothing growing up, she was the go-to-girl in her circle for updates on their favorite artists. Like any New Orleans native, she grew up on second lines and brass bands; as she matured her music styles evolved and so did her interests. As time passed, Ally became a huge fan of east cost hip-hop, pop-punk rock ,skateboarding and a tattoo enthusiast. After returning to N.O. after Hurricane Katrina, Ally Bea worked behind the scenes with the city's top local promoters and DJ’s, all while longing to see her favorite artists and attend events that spoke to her life. Upon meeting more and more people, she found her peers and associates, too, longed to have more events geared toward their lifestyle interests. This sparked Ally's interest in creating a specialty events company that catered to 'Lifers'; people who know what their life was about, thought outside of the box and sought new entertainment options not typical of New Orleans mainstream. These Lifers needed an outlet that spoke to their needs and Aye Lifestyle was born to meet the demand. In 2008, Ally Bea began working as Program Director at 'Big Boot Radio', an online radio station. Ally’s on-air radio career started when she was asked to fill in for Big Boot's CEO, Alex McConduit, while he was on vacation. Soon after she was given her first show, Alternative Mondays. Ally infused her love for different types of music, making her show the spot to hear everything from Lil Wayne to Fall Out Boy. Following this success, Ally moved on to host Aye Lifestyle Radio. It was here Ally built the Lifestyle Saturdays brand and the need for a website came about-AyeLifestyle.com. A site appealing to music, film and fashion lovers, AyeLifestyle.com has expanded past the Greater New Orleans and Baton Rouge areas reaching Lifers across the globe within a few short years. Ally Bea's vision of building a company that appeals to the outsider in all of us continues to grow as she insists, “I am only getting started, I’m on a quest for worldwide domination.”
