BLOOD OVER EVERYTHING – B.O.E BIOGRAPHY

Los Angeles natives BOE are set to take the music industry by storm. Lead by gifted MC’s and founders White Tigers that’s made up of Zabba and YB, and comprised of a host of emerging artists including Earl Swavey and Shooby Mack, all collaborators have joined their collective talents to form an unstoppable crew; BOE. (Blood (family) Over Everything) got its start from each MC sharing the same common goal - the ambition to make a group that could truly bypass the level of greatness of their influencers, and also revenge. Brought together by their dedication to the game, all members have also been burnt by liars and cheats in their past, but which now only fuels their creative fire further.

With ‘family’ as more than a motto, but a mantra for the group, their sound has evolved as they collaborate with like-minded MCs and songwriters such Booda, Young Von, Juice, Cho Cho, Flirt, and Beezy amongst other homegrown LA talent. All pitching in to lend their hands as unofficial members, the leadership comes in the form of YB’s business expertise and the exceptional production skills of Zabba and the songwriting abilities of Earl Swavey. Zabba; having grown up listening to Little Brother, Dre, Snoop and 2Pac is a MC and master former TDE producer. Inspired by producers such as 9th Wonder, Just Blaze and Alchemist in his early years pushed Zabba into making music, and as one official half of White Tigers has come to be one of the most exciting new producers on the radar right now.

The brainchild of White Tigers and BOE is YB; a lifelong friend of Zabba, their shared passion for music brought them even further together as they were influenced by the tough, sun drenched exterior of LA County in which they were born and raised. A winning combination from the start, White Tigers have already piqued the interests of a number of major labels and radio DJs with their intimidating mix of street smarts and natural finesse for beats, making them one of the most promising and fresh acts on the scene.

Throw Earl Swavey into the fold, and you have a triple threat. A rapper and songwriter hailing from South Central Los Angeles, Swavey effortlessly incorporates throwback funk with ‘90s gangster rap with a blend of organic, yet futuristic sounds to become one of music’s best kept secrets. Starting out at only 14 years of age, Swavey is a creative soul looking to find expression in his art. As the second youngest member of the group, Swavey also brings a rawness that truly makes BOE a force to be reckoned with.

Now with 2015 in full swing; there lies a huge year ahead. As official South By Southwest artists, the crew will be heading to Austin, TX to prove what the hype is all about. The group was also handpicked to be the focus of a brand new TV pilot from cultural tastemakers, Vice. With new standout material ready to be released, it’s safe to say White Tigers, Earl Swavey and the rest of BOE are quickly on the rise.
